bright night lights

finals are on everyone's minds, so it was nice to take a break and get dinner. this photo was taken at the japanese restaurant by the back gate. (you can also kinda see the korean restaurant and the uyghur restaurant to the right.)
this morning i had my chinese oral test. unlike the other ones, this test was in front of the whole class. part one was speaking about our experiences in shanghai and part two was reenacting a chinese fable about a frog who doesn't want to leave his well and a turtle that tells him about the outside world. then, in groups of two, we had to continue the story. my group had the frog return to the well and the group's frog got eaten. >.<"
tomorrow is the last day of classes! only the written chinese test and sociology research paper to go!
