knowledge, food, & joy

today was the graduation ceremony, talent show, and farewell dinner.
in the morning, i got brunch with my friend at a bakery and later everyone in the program met-up to take a group photo in front of the mao statue. the people in the photo above are our program's uber helpful staff. then we headed to the auditorium in the science building for the graduation ceremony. i performed a solo in the talent show---it felt great to dance again! that night, we all got dressed up for a fancy dinner at the marriot hotel. the food was amazing, but the best part was spending time with friends, taking ridiculous photos, and drinking red wine with my chinese teachers! my chinese class had a lot of fun that night because our teachers had tons energy! afterwards, we headed back to the dorm and some of my close friends and i went to barbarossa, a moroccan-themed restaurant/cocktail lounge that sits on a pond in the middle of people's square. there we reflected on the semester and chatted until the restaurant closed~
