Favourite decoration

I know, I know, it's a little corny but I really do like this decoration. I guess I'm not unique in attaching memories to these things - this one I bought at the art gallery in Edinburgh.

I was just there for a day, back in...ooh, not sure. 2006? I'd gone to meet a Canadian buddy of mine who was there on research leave for a few months. We hadn't seen each other for years, not since I'd followed my star away from academia in favour of training and development as a career. I was a little nervous, I recall - needlessly as it turned out as we had a truly wonderful day.
