Stalking Snow Dog

Took a day off work today and headed to the shops.... aye right.... headed to the hills more like :-)

Forecast for Glenshee, one of Scotlands premier ski centres (!), looked good.
Lots of snow. Not too much wind and dry. It can be pretty wild weather wise up there. Think they were recordng circa 150MPH winds a couple of weeks back at the summit. The sunrise was stunning on the drive up. Unfortunately I was driving - so no pic.

Actually Glenshee can have some fabulous snow. You just have to go at last minute to make best use of any good conditions. It certainly can't compete with the Alps, but it's a good place to get the ski legs working again. Think they are going to be suffering tomorrow.

Good day on the slopes. Saw this wee fellow running round chasing after his owner who was there skiing. Not quite sure how he'd gotten up the chairlift...
