Strike!

For many years in my nearest town (where I regularly shop) there was a brilliant little shop called Fantoosh. It was here I bought the beautiful carved wooden frame for the batik (blipped on August 30th) which our dear friend Chris gave me as a parting gift when he left to live in Australia at the beginning of the 80s.
One day in the shop I saw this carved wooden Cobra and fell in love with it - because a) I'm weird a great snake lover and b) I'm VERY weird I adore hooded Cobras (though I can't say I'd want to keep a living one!).
I really loved the sheer energy of this one about to strike. So I had to have it .......
I've been meaning to blip it for a while now.
