All eyes on chocolate

Today we held a Christmas party for the orphans and destitute children of RUDEC. These children are some of the most under privileged children of the Belo community. Their parents / guardians cannot always afford to pay their school fees or feed them properly.

Today we cooked them meat and veg, gave them bread and orange squash and handed out drinking chocolate to finish. Many of the children will never have tasted these things. We sent them away with rice, fish, clothes from donations, toothbrushes and toothpaste and Christmas gifts. Needless to say, there were many happy and excited children present!
