I had an interesting experience with an earlier subject tonight, whereby I couldn't manage to balance the flashlight properly. It was outdoors and finding surfaces off which to bounce a flash was well nigh impossible.

Fortunately, this girl in a bus stand on Princes Street was a far easier technical challenge. I had to do a bit of coaxing to get her to look at me, which given all the busy shoppers milling about was easier than it seemed.
