The Wheel of Glasgow

The giant observation wheel, constructed in George Square for the festive season. It may well be the first time we've ever had one, correct me if I am wrong. It is open until 3 January, and cheaper to book online in advance. I do rather fancy a spin during daylight hours when the sky is blue. More info here.

A trip into town this afternoon for some last minute shopping, and to have a wander around the Square and other areas illuminated for this festive season. Pleased to get just a little touch of red in this shot, that is the VIP pod!
