25 Years.

Yes it is our Silver Wedding Anniversary today. 25 years ago, on a bright but freezing day, we were married. Why we picked Christmas and December for a wedding I can't remember, but I'm sure it was a good idea at the time:)

Well, we're still here, although the actual house and location has changed several times. We are five children the heavier too. We of course still look exactly the same and if we were to view the album I'm sure our children would recognise us immediately.

Probably. Possibly.

We should watch the wedding video again, an amazing production, made by friends of ours who seemed to bring the combined might of Thames TV, BBC, BT, the local Gazette and the National Broadcasting School together to record every moment of that day and record interviews with parents and family, so many of whom are no longer with us.

25 years seems such a long time but in reality it is but the blink of an eye.

I hope the next 25 elapse before I chance to blink again.
