When one lives in a climate like ours, who chooses to head north for an early summer break - to an area known for its horrible weather but extreme beauty?

That'd be Cayen and I!
And that'd be a camping break in very changeably wet conditions.

(not our kayak but rather that of some heavy duty kayak extremist - the one whose hand is holding his cigarette out of the phone-box door - in a typically Québec response to our 'indoor' smoking rules.)
