Christmas in the Park

Today I went out with Julie to deliver Christmas Hampers that were donated by generous people of Christchurch for the Elderly who have been involved in earthquake recovery with the Christchurch Methodist Mission.
The Hampers were amazing and the elderly folk who we dropped them off to were most appreciative that they were remembered as having been through hell and back - I went to areas I have never been before and was humbled by the experience. When you hear from the Powers that Be of progress and you wend your way around these areas and meet with elderly who are isolated and no-where to go it seems hard to balance all the bullshit out there.
Just as well I was the navigator as Julie is not the best with maps!!!!!
