Cumquat

I came across this lovely sounding recipe, easy to make and even easier to eat.
Prick each cumquat with a needle, put into a jar with a bit of sugar, cover with brandy and leave for a year. I have been watering my two nearly dead cumquat bushes like mad since I read it. Grow, grow, grow!
