Seasonal tasks

Wet and miserable but at least a little milder. Decided it was time to wrap Mrs P's presents - it adds a bit to the sense of occasion even though she generally tells me what she wants for a main present. She's probably forgotten about the perfume which I got after pretty heavy-handed hinting about 3 or 4 months ago. Only just managed to keep an arm and a leg. The frame round the small picture is made from timber from the "Rival" a boat which used to sail out of Harris on the Western Isles and once caught the largest ever herring catch. Someone bought and built a replica but is breaking up the original.
