Branching Out

A few weeks ago we had bought the new Christmas tree. We knew there would be some assembley required but in our childlike naivity had totally underestimated the building job that lay ahead ...

Whatever happened to the tree that had it's branches folded up then released very December? Don't they make them anymore?

Unlike Jack who grew his own then climbed the neverending frame to explore the world beyond ... we were building colour by branches ... all 56 of them ... to reach the giddy heights of 7ft.

Taller than me ...
But smaller than the ceiling ...

Thankfully our luck was in ... but I think the Angel might be pushing it too far! Decorating the tree ..

Well that's a whole different bauble game!
