Winter solstice at Loch of Blairs

Late afternoon on the longest day. A glimmer of red betrays the setting sun. The ice on the loch is almost melted, only a remnant floating at the edge as temperatures rise. No white Christmas this year it seems.

First blip for a while, just been too busy. Will do better in 2012.
