scraping (on) ice

8:30pm and just back in from the garage.

This is the rear sprocket set on my Boardman bike. Fell off it again this morning, thanks to a misjudgment of the state of the road - IE it was black ice and not surface water.

Not a really sore fall, but a few bruises and scrapes to show for it.

Today at work was productive and enjoyable. Home at a good and early time after a short fight with a particularly stubborn cheque pay-in machine at HSBC.

And in the house at the moment is the wrapping of gifts. After yesterday's KCC events, it's beginning to feel a bit like Christmas.
