Walking in a winter wonderland.

Our neighbours put a lot of time and effort into decorating their houses. As a pair of semi-detached houses, they obviously collaborate when doing their decorations.

I saw one of them out the other day with his step ladder in the freezing cold and rain, toiling away. I thought at the time that was dedication bordering upon nuts, but I think it was worth it.

Looking at these lights reminds me of the christmas song of the title, which in turn reminds me of when Hugo was aged 8, at primary school. In one assembly his class sang the song.

He and his mates - being little boys - decided it would be more fun to change the words. Imagine if you can, a class of teeny little cherubs gaily singing "walking round in womens underwear". I was in on the joke, they were having a great time, I don't think the teacher heard! Happy days.
