A Glimpse Into The Future

In a coffee shop at lunch time before work today, I saw this elderly couple reflected in the shiny surface of a coffee machine. It was a nice unguarded moment, and they seemed to have time for each other. They were sat beside me but could have been 25 years into the future; my future. I've been losing my hair for many years and I've stopped growing upwards but I'm still growing outwards.

Looking at them, I am reminded how Mrs P and I enjoy spending time eating out, even if it is just coffee and a scone, and I can envisage us still doing the same thing in 2036. If we're still around, then. Might cut back on those mince pies!
