Travelling from the East bearing gifts.

Tomorrow I head north to be with my parents for Christmas. Last year I was unable to travel due to the weather - the first time ever that I'd not spent Christmas with them.

So today I'm trying to finish off a list of things to do which seems to be getting longer the more I do!!!

Had lunch with my proxy mum for her birthday today then called in at church to take some pictures of the stable tableau now that the Wise Men have arrived. It will be gone by the time I return for New Year.

They took gifts to the baby Jesus and I, of course, will also be travelling from the East with gifts tomorrow. Have bought my mum 3 vintage costume brooches as she likes to wear them on her jackets and coats.

Not quite Gold, Frankinscense and Myrrh but, hopefully, appreciated all the same!!
