Handmade Byzantine Chain

I made this chain for my girlfriend about 18 months ago and it's still looking shiny!

The pattern is a Byzantine chain and it is made from sterling silver jump rings (2.75mm x 0.8mm) which were individually closed by hand - this was my first attempt at chain making and, although I was happy with it at the time, they could be closed a bit tighter.

I must find some time to make some more jump rings and weave some more chainmaille!
