Waiting in vain

Today was a giant strike in Belgium. No trains , no buses.... Nowhere to go. The labor unions in Belgium don't agree with the reformations concerning pension. It was a sudden strike and affected many people who couldn't reach their working place. Luckily i only live about 5 km from my working place . Normally 17h30 it's very busy at the train platform but tonight ..empty. Some people waiting in the hall for some good news..alas in vain.
