Is my hometown becoming cool?

Today I literally walked like 5 miles around my town just enjoying the views. I walked along a greenway that has a great stretch to it along a creek. I remember when the greenway was build and it was pathetic. Now I walked this gorgeous stretch of oaks, maples, and magnolia trees. It is pretty rad to get to walk through the woods and then end up at the shopping center. All the large tree stumps have been carved into art, benches, or preserved to show cool natural features...

is my hometown turning cool?
