A lovely gift
I thought a relatively normal blip was in order today...
A close friend visited yesterday and brought me these lovely pink Hyacinths in a basket, I can remember (just about) planting bulbs with my mother as a child and putting them in a dark place until the tips showed through.
I doubt this still goes on with all the forced growing and imports.
A very important thank-you for all your lovely comments yesterday which just reinforces the friendliness of this 'site'.
Its pouring down here so shan't venture out if I can help it, yesterday on my way home from the building society a 'couldn't careless' van driver had just parked on the pavement outside some shops and opened his door as I drove past, how he didn't take my roof off I don't know, I swerved slightly but couldn't go far because of the traffic coming towards me, got home and found another dozy pillock had parked right in front of my garage!
Its maddness out there...take care cheers Penny.
