Celebrating the Season

The school in 12 de Octubre has a Christmas party today and I ms 'cordially' invited. So much gratitude.

Party wouldn't be complete without a reenactment of the birth of the baby Jesus, a choir singing Feliz Navidad, a girl dancing to Shakira, dozens of balloons, creative contests for the parents (including chugging a small-sized beer as fast as possible), cakes and cakes and caramels and cakes, dancing la hora loca with masks and tooting horns...

Here you see the Santa Clauses and the little Princess and the Godmother of the Christmas Tree and the little Queen of the school?

The joy at this event is overflowing and I walk away with tears in my eyes. Though it might seem it, this is not sarcasm.
