Traffic Calming

This birdie was stood in the middle of the road in Old Isleworth this morning, stopping traffic in both directions.
Being a public spirited sort of chap, I risked broken arms & ushered it to the side of the road, from where it could safely stroll back to the river. Actually, I was less concerned about my arms & more worried about a sharp peck to the family jewels!
When I walked back past a few minutes later, the swan was back in the road again! This time I escorted it down the slipway to the river's edge. Here's hoping it got the message on the second attempt.

This will probably be my last blip until after the weekend, so I'll take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! I know you've all been good boys & girls this year, so I'm confident Santa will bring you all good things!
