COURAGE

I HATE having my photo taken.....largely because, disappointingly, I always look like me! However, my friend, Caged Bird (who is away for a few days ) has been nagging me about it and today I have had a particularly good morning!

I went for an informal chat to the University where I work as a Link Tutor - on a very part time basis. They wanted a tutor to work in the Faculty and I went along to see if I would fit the bill. They were so welcoming, apparently I'm just what they need - with all the right experience!! I have had a few nasty work related issues over the past few years, although none since I've lived here.

This was such a boost to my self esteem, I thought I would attempt a self portrait before the feeling went! Didn't even brush my hair (obviously!) I didn't know how tricky taking a self portrait is and really admire all the good ones I've seen here on blip - I will appreciate them even more now!

Anyway, the face behind Dejaview is revealed!

I'm regretting it already!
