Ancient archways

Rainy lunch hour. Took a short walk around the castle grounds before joining friends for a warming drink in the local. I find paths, doors and gates appealing, I guess because they represent journeys and possibilities, so they're likely to be a recurring theme! It was my last lunch hour of 2011. Christmas eve tomorrow. One of my favourite days of the year awaits.
