Thanks to my friend, EWMyers, and his storyboard for an awesome day filled with important conversations, hugs, laughter, and comfort. You are a true friend for life.

It could have been a disaster, but you made the day joyful. I particularly appreciated this quote, tacked above those inspirational black panels.

Thanks, too, to the small handful of folks who actually understood the need for it to be like this - these are the moments when you find out who your truest friends are, the people who care enough to support you in a difficult decision even when they may not agree. It's been a really, really heart wrenching time, but my strength is coming back. Days like this sure do help.
