Carp

Had a short day in the office further shortened by a nice lunch at Gusto's. As my favourite pizza is no more on the menu, I've even managed to try something else this time.

On the way home a box of carps was "smiling" at me in the window of my favourite Polish shop. After a bit of contemplation while I did the grocery run I've bought this fish and extended the Christmas menu to 4 course with adding "proper" Hungarian fish soup. Lucky the fish was dead and cleaned, so could avoid my childhood's "tradition" of keeping the pour soul for 2 days in the bathtube. I still not understand why everyone did so, as I've never heard about anyone who's been left without a carp for Christmas Eve. Well, Hungarians have their weird habbits as well.
