not a ramada

I was inspired to take this photo after reading bikerjim's "An Arizona Ramada" entry. The ramada in his description is "temporary or permanent shelter with a roof but no walls". So when I passed by this structure at the local park I was reminded of that. Except in this case the roof is not quite all there as the spaces between the horizontal beams are not covered. Still I did find it quite pretty.

On the other hand I am in the middle of a major upgrade on my home computer. It is an old desktop where I upgraded the CPU to the maximum the motherboard (as it is getting a bit old the max it would go was an Intel P4 3.06 GHz) can handle and I've added a 500GB hard disk! Still the major change is the move away from Microsoft Windows and into the world of Linux. So far it is going well and I am rather pleased with the result!
