sun glory...

...of infused warmth

a glorious day - with the sun shining brightly... a welcome relief from the white and gray of yesterday when snow filled the skies... and although still quite cold, due to being so high up in altitude - once the sun comes out, the brilliance of its rays brings warmth that makes it feel much hotter than the actual temperature reading - boo!

i have tried to get pictures of the sun endlessly... my attempts feeble at best... i admire other blippers and their ability at precision with capturing its rays beaming down - making light wonders of that special globe in the sky - while i am left to flounder. but today, with this shot... i think i'm pleased with my effort - how the sun is peaking through the trees - caught in their strength as well. for once, it is a picture i believe is worth posting - to get feedback - to see if i've finally done what i set out to do... which is: capture a moment of sun glory that exudes the beauty of the rays. what do you think? have i accomplished it? be honest...

regardless the outcome - the process is worth it - the value of learning cannot be denied - and will always make for...
