Chestnuts roasting...

So, this evening we went to the pub because it is Friday. It's the rules. Some of the other villagers were there too, and we shared some witty badinage (ok, they were sledging me while I was playing pool). Then Chris popped home to get some chestnuts, Jude sliced them, and they were set a-roasting. It's not quite on an open fire (doors closed for health and safety reasons), but it's as near to the Christmas Song as I've been!
