Christmas Eve, Eve

Day spent visiting family exchanging gifts. Like to stay home on Christmas day to let the kids play with their gifts and relax.

All about food as well it seemed. Went and picked up the bird of choice, goose. Bought from a farm about 20 miles down the road. Picked up a few bits and bobs from the farm shop as well (wild boar, organic venison and smoked salmon). Got fed at Grans at lunch time, some sweets at the in-laws and then dinner and wine at my brothers.

Finally picked up a couple of the best haggis (haggi?) from the one and only The Haggisking. His lovely wife also gave us a few home made mince pies. Thinking of keeping the Haggis for Hogmanay if people come round for a few drinks. Tempted to have the smaller one on the side of the Christmas dinner though!
