Wintery Bokeh

Not quite sure why this photo appeals so much to me, but it does so much more for me than those sharply focused shots I took today.

Went for a walk in the amazing wintery sunshine and mild winter air this afternoon. Just me and the dogs. I've said it before...it is utterly amazing how a quiet walk can somehow rejuvenate me.

The chirping of birds (no little people chirping :)
Crunching of the dogs running through the down branches and leaves
Golden afternoon sun
Wintery berries
Mossy shadows
Damp ground

It was quite perfect. Thanks M for letting me just take off for a bit.

And a huge thanks for a staff pick this week...I was quite surprised, but always so excited nonetheless. What a fantastic way to start the holiday celebration!
