Harvey

Hi everyone

So this is Harvey, real name Vassis. He is a Russian Trakehner and is from Latvia. He was imported to the UK aged four. He was cut late as he was going to be used as a stallion - but he hurt his knee and has a scar so could not be used (as if a scar is going to be inherited) but it is what they call a blemish so he was sent over here! Good job really, well for me anyway!

Bought him in 2007 as his owner was moving to Oz, to get away from him probably as he can be a monkey!

He is 16.1 and a real "lad" and has an eye for the ladies! But unlucky for him our stables only allows boys, so he has had to curb his womanising ways ;)

We love dressage, and plan to compete again soon, as when I was pregnant he had a little break. My Mum is the best and also rides and helps me with him. She spoils him rotten and gives he FAR too many polos!

This was taken today, as you can see its still dark and a bit creepy. But I am used to the early mornings as when I was working full time I was there at 5.30am mucking out.
