Roses (or sunflowers) grow on you.

I've been 'banging on' about doing something like this at school for ages - and today I got my chance!!

The children were talking about growing plants in assembly. So, together with some help from dancingqueen and some fishing line, we rigged up this plant that 'magically' grew before the childrens eyes at great speed.

I feel so much better new I've got it out of my system.
