Across the Miles

This beautiful arrangement arrived for the family, now gathered, from my gorgeous daughter Leo and her boyfriend Scottfish, who will not be celebrating Christmas with us this year.I just had to share their beauty with everyone,especially those, who like us, have family members missing, due to them having passed away, illness, or simply at a distance or with work commitments.The miss is just the same no matter what the reason. Christmas is for families.
However we celebrate it, this time of year really does something pretty rare and BEAUTIFUL---it softens lines that too often divide, revealing instead the good we all have in common----LOVE for our families, STRENGTH in our traditions and a deep HOPE for a better world.

But, separately, we can share our smiles
Although not physically there, it's true
Our hearts have travelled to be with you.
Can't be together, so wish we could,
To hug you now would feel so good!
