Brochette

Into the village this morning to buy bread for to-day and tomorrow... being Christmas day it may well be le boulanger is having a well earned rest. Along with flutes and moisson are two brochettes...each containing a mini version of the various loaves from the boulangerie including the little spiky pain chataigne made with chestnut flour and figs.
