Saturday: Browsing

K.s brother and sister-in-law arrived yesterday, so along with my mother-in-law, we now have a lovely full house for Christmas.  So far, it has already been an endless round of eating and drinking.

We did take a walk out this morning to stretch our legs and called in at our fabulous local second-hand bookshop.  Two books were purchased by moi, namely:

'An Unfinished Woman' by Lillian Hellman and
'Hermit of Peking - The Hidden Life of Sir Edmund Backhouse' by Hugh Trevor-Roper

I shall add both to my never-diminishing pile of books to be read.
