Winter Birches

Christmas Eve: around here, a cold day of low sunshine and bright blue skies.

Here, the bare branches of the birches are outlined against the sky on the edge of a small wood near Broadsea Farm, between Burnhervie and the Bennachie Centre near Chapel of Garioch in Aberdeenshire.
