The Night Before Christmas
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.
Oliver and Megan were nestled both snug in their beds,
While visions of toys danced in their heads.
And mamma in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter's nap
- or maybe a wee glass of wine or two before we head upstairs!
Just remember...
He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake
Hope you've all been good. Merry Christmas Everyone!
