Family lunch

It's not often I get a decent photo of my brother, so here he is featuring in today's blip. The only photos I took today were when I was checking the settings on my camera. After that a combination of my cold and the rather chaotic scenario meant that I just didn't get into a photography mood. Today has been our annual Christmas Eve lunchtime family get together. This year we chose the Wortley Arms which is only a couple of miles away from home. Bobby was sick and his mum was stressed and I never felt very settled either. The food was very good and the service excellent, so no complaints there at all. So a very big thanks to the staff.

As we were so close to home everyone came back to us for a short while. Both children were pretty tired and so their mum and dad took them back to Leeds quite early.

We have my mum and dad tonight and my sister will come back tomorrow. So we can all look forward to a fairly quiet and peaceful day.
