Ready

Yesterday I barely stopped for a minute which meant today I could relax and enjoy the festive preparations.

We had Carlos' mum and step dad round for a lovely long lunch of homemade soup, cheese scones and a cake stand full of delights. They really enjoyed their visit and it was nice to kick off the family festivities a day early.

We seem to have developed a team Rob-riguez tradition of a Christmas Eve kebab from the local 3 in 1 which we continued this year while watching an excellent movie.

Now the stockings are hung, the presents are wrapped, the fizz is poured and It's a Wonderful Life is ready to play.
