It's Christmas Eve.
This time tomorrow and Christmas Day will be almost over.

Christmas Eve - a time to reflect and think of Christmasses in the past and particularly of loved ones who are no longer with us. It's also time to be thankful for our family and friends who are with us and share their strength and their love.

This ornament was a birthday gift back in April from a very special friend who has had more than her share of sad and difficult times. I thought of her tonight and added some 'bling' to her gift to reflect the Festive Season. I hoped it would make her smile which I found later it did. Her greatest gift to me however was to let me be her friend and to be mine in return.

A friend who makes you smile is worth more than any present.
