Christmas Sunset

A big day, but Christmas day always is!

It's been good, the kids have had a ball, lots of presents, maybe we spoil them a little bit.

Yesterday we went to Melbourne to visit my family, today we had the morning at home, lunch with the in-laws then dinner with friends.

It was supposed to get up to 38 degrees C today but it only managed about 28. We had a series of storms through the day, heaps of lightning & thunder! The best one was after lunch, I watched it coming for about 1 hour then it just steamrolled over the top of us, lightning, thunder, wind, it had it all! Trees down everywhere!

Not as bad as the storm in Melbourne, my parents rang and told me they had almost 100mm of rain in one storm and some areas had hail larger than golf balls, I'm glad we went down yesterday instead of today!

This shot was taken on the way home, I was caught without my camera so I used my phone, no cropping or touch-ups, I hope it looks ok.
