Presentation by the grad students open to the entire department's professors about our thesis work.
Unfortunately, only three of us presented. But we got some great feedback.
I'm really proud of how far I've come so far and I'm looking forward to where I'm going to be going with this research.

This is a shot of the 'clicker' for the projector. Makes it easier to give powerpoint presentations when you don't have to stand next to the computer the whole time.

Guerrsfest tonight! Loved almost everything that showed. A few minor sound issues with a few of the films, but all was very well done. So awesome!

Story update:

Reminder that this is a story, not drawn from my life or anyone I know. This is entirely a work of fiction. Any likeness to actual events or people is entirely coincidental and completely possible.

He was kneeling next to me in the downpour.
Seems he had saved me from hitting my head on the concrete when I fell.

"Are you alright?"

I made it a point to look anywhere but into his eyes. I did not need to pass out again. Gosh, this was embarrassing. I felt like such a dork.
I sat up and somehow managed to get my feet under me to stand.

"I'm okay. Thank you."
"What happened?"
"I...maybe I...crud. I don't know." I was not about to tell him that the reason I passed out was because we had made eye contact. That just sounded ridiculous.

"You should see a doctor about that."
I glanced at the hand he was steadying me with. And realized that it was soaked. And so was he.
