Fiona says Merry Christmas everyone!

So the new camera is finally here. I have so much to learn. Please bear with me while I figure out how to get the best shots from it.

Fiona is my littlest girl, and she was very hard to capture with my previous camera because of the whole parrot ADHD thing. I can catch her with the new one, but then there's the whole inside lighting in the room she calls her home problem. I'm sure this camera can overcome some of it, but I need to learn how to take advantage of it's ability.

I have to say, as I write this, my middle girl Daisy is in her usual spot on my shoulder relaxing and grinding her beak. It's something they usually do at bedtime, and although it is annoying to others in my house, I find it a very soothing sound. I know she's relaxed and happy when she does it, which makes me relaxed.
