Off with his head...

A period of relative calm, early afternoon with the children ensconced in their new things...before the Christmas meal.

Including Sienna who was very verbally re-enacting a a scene from castle life that involved a princess, a knight a king and a queen and an episode of head cutting off!

A long, long day when young children are involved - their excitement and enthusiasm and joy is infectious and when balanced with the company of close friends, a truly lovely way to spend the day.
