Rachel's favourite present was a simple hand knitted brown bear with a blue scarf (you can see it in the picture next to her right knee) that cost £2.50 from Stepping Hill Hospital, Special Care Baby Unit. Somebody had donated them to raise money for the unit. Much later when I asked her why that was her favourite, She said it's special as it's where all her family was born and it's to help the babies that aren't as lucky as us.......... GULP.
