Alternative Christmas pud

This is what we had for our Christmas pud today:

Banana - sliced
Strawberry jam
M&S thick and creamy custard
Whipped cream
Strawberries
Crushed meringue nests

It's a DIY pud, and you can assemble it in any order, but above is how I choose to do it. The particular joy of it (as far as I am concerned) is that if you find yourself running a bit short of one of the ingredients, e.g. custard or cream, you can top it up to your liking. Just don't try playing charades, or doing anything else much afterwards. We flopped on the sofa and watched a DVD of Bagdad Cafe.
